Blacksmithing. An old hand-skill that’s making a comeback. Gabe bought an anvil, some coal, built a basic forge, and started teaching himself this craft. Bottle openers became an easy item for practicing his skills. Once he became familiar with the forge, he was able to add more detail and fine tune the quality. A few styles of bottle openers have become staple item we offer. Gabe has also crafted handles for fireplace doors. Recently he upgraded to a modern propane style forge.
